50 Ways to Brighten Your Day When You Have A Case of the Januarys

50 Ways to Brighten Your Day When You Have a Case of the Januarys. Winter gloomy got you feeling a little blahsy? Find out some of my favourite ways to stay positive and add a little sparkle to my day!

Today is Blue Monday.

Blue Monday falls typically on the third Monday in January, and it is considered to be the saddest day of the year. For those of us dwelling in the depths of Winter, there's no doubt about it— shit gets gloomy. While Blue Monday has been widely debunked as pseudoscience (it was put forth by a study conducted by a travel agency), there's no denying the long dark months of winter can be a little rough. You may not have seen sunlight in quite some time, it's cold, your skin is suffering, and you've been wearing most of your closet at the same time to stay warm (hello woolly sweaters). We're not getting outside as much as we used to, and this aspect of Winter can be particularly harsh on those of us who work from home (why venture out into the freezer when you don't actually have to?).
